RIYADH: The fourth edition of the Italian Super Cup kicks off on Monday with Napoli facing Inter Milan, in what should be a treat for local and international fans.
Napoli secured their spot by defeating Fiorentina 3-0, under the guidance of Luciano Spalletti, the celebrated Italian coach who also leads his country’s national team.
Inter Milan had beaten Lazio 3-0, and with Italian coach Simone Inzaghi at the helm, this marks their second appearance in the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.
The competition is a part of Saudi Arabia’s Quality of Life Program, under the Vision 2030 plan.
The game at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh begins at 10 p.m. local time.
