Saudi education project aids Taiz recovery

TAIZ: Saudi-led education projects in Yemen have been helping toward a recovery program in Taiz governorate.
The construction of Omar bin Al-Khattab Model School in Khashar, and the Joint Unity Model School, both in Taiz province, have been at the forefront of the ongoing Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen.
The building schemes form part of a comprehensive framework of 52 educational projects — out of a total 229 development programs — initiated in the war-torn country.
The two schools in Taiz will provide curriculums specially tailored to meet the educational needs of young people in the region, providing secure and stable learning environments for children.
More than 500,000 textbooks have been printed and distributed in Yemen under the Saudi initiative.
