Foreign minister honors Saudi envoys for service to diplomatic community

  • Prince Faisal held an iftar banquet in Riyadh in honor of the heads of diplomatic missions

RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan recently received the Kingdom’s former permanent representative to the UN, Abdallah Al-Mouallimi, and the ex-head of the country’s mission to the EU, Saad Al-Arifi, at ministry headquarters in Riyadh.

The prince thanked the ambassadors for their service to the nation, its citizens, and the diplomatic community, and wished them future success, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Executive Affairs Abdulhadi Al-Mansouri, and Director General of the General Administration of Human Resources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Mansour bin Saad.

On Monday, Prince Faisal held an iftar banquet in Riyadh in honor of the heads of diplomatic missions, regional bodies, offices, and international organizations accredited to Saudi Arabia.

The iftar was also attended by Al-Khuraiji, Al-Mansouri, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
