ISPR refutes report of court martial assurance to Waziristan protesters

August 27 – The Express Tribune report by News Desk states that the Pakistan Army has refuted a report about assuring Pashtun Tahafuz Movement protesters in North Waziristan that a serving captain would be court martialed so that they would end their protest. However, DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor says an inquiry has been ordered to ascertain facts in the alleged killing of a boy during an earlier protest.
